Our in-house, computerized, degree day scheduling system keeps oil in your tank ... automatically.

As every home is unique, oil consumption varies accordingly. There are many factors which affect oil consumption, including your home size, amount and quality of insulation, equipment efficiency, number of residents, personal habits, etc. All these factors can be calculated and condensed into a number called a "K factor." Each customer has a K factor that is specific to their home. For new customers we must closely monitor usage during the first few months of a heating season. We can then generate a K factor specific to their home. Once the K factor has been determined, our computers take the wheel; (we simultaneously provide personalized monitoring). The computers monitor the changing outdoor temperature, wind speed, and other weather conditions over time. The information is then converted to "degree days." ("Degree days" is a numeric value which quantifies the effect weather has on your oil consumption.) The computers then combine degree day information with your K factor to determine the actual delivery date for your home. It all boils down to two words: Automatic Delivery!
